The Milestone list defines the important milestones listed in the project management schedule. It also includes a log for all of the key events related to those milestones which occur over the life of the project.
Purpose
Use the milestone list as a summary of important events that come from the project management schedule.The project manager often uses a list like this to keep focused on the important tasks. It's also a great tool when used as a way to communicate with stakeholders.
